Dr. Selin Temürlü was born on June 7, 1989, in Adana, Turkey. She completed her primary
education in the Şile district of İstanbul and graduated from Beykoz Fevzi Çakmak Anatolian High
School. She began her undergraduate studies in 2008 in the Department of Chemistry Education
at Balıkesir University. She later pursued her master’s and doctoral degrees in the Department of
Chemistry in Organic Chemistry at Eastern Mediterranean University. During her post-graduate
studies; she worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry at the same university,
where she actively participated in various research projects. This period strengthened both her
academic and laboratory experience.
Her academic work focuses particularly on organic synthesis, photochemistry, dye-sensitized solar
cells, amphiphilic and conjugated polymers, and donor-acceptor materials in several peer-reviewed
international journals.
