Zalihe TÜRKER was born in Nicosia/T. R. N. C. She attended Şirinevler primary school and Lefkoşa Türk High School and graduated with first-school degree. She received her B. S. in Physics from Anadolu University and gained first-class honour in 2006. She received her M. S. and PhD in Physics in 2009 and 2013 respectively from the Anadolu University. Zalihe TÜRKER’ s main research areas are the Bose-Einstein Condensation and Dynamical Casimir Effect. She started to work at the Faculty of Engineering of Near East University in 2013. She is married to Emrah TÜRKER.
