Kadir Gürgey, Professor of Department of Petroleum & Natural gas Engineering at Near East University has 40 years of experience in both industry and academia. He holds BS, MSc and PhD degrees from the Istanbul Technical University, University of Tulsa, OK-USA, and Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, respectively. His research has focused on the application of petroleum geochemistry to conventional as well as unconventional oil and gas resource studies.
