Dr. Farzad Zaare Tajabadi was born in Iran on March 1990. He received the Ph.D. degree in Industrial
Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University in 2023. Former research and teaching assistant in
Industrial Engineering Department at the same university, where he conducted cutting-edge research on
optimization, data envelopment analysis, benchmarking, and sustainability in supply chain and logistics
operations. He has published multiple papers in reputable journals and presented his findings at
international conferences and workshops. He took the B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the
Islamic Azad University Qazvin branch in 2014 and 2016 respectively. His primary study fields are
Operations Research and Operations Management.

Prior to joining academia, he worked as supply chain and inventory manager for the KAVIR Motor, a
leading manufacturer of motorcycles and electric vehicles in Tehran, Iran. He applied his analytical and
problem-solving skills to plan, coordinate, and monitor the flow of materials and products from supplier
to customers, while optimizing inventory levels and costs. He also contributed to the development and
implementation of green supply chain strategies and practices, such as reducing waste, emissions, and
energy consumption.
