
Özlem Sabuncu was born in 1997 in Adana and completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Adana. She began her undergraduate studies in 2015 and completed her Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering at Near East University in 2019.
In 2019, she started her Master's program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Near East University, completing it in 2021. During this period, she served as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering.
In 2021, she began her PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Near East University and is continuing her studies. Since 2021, she has been working as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a role she continues to fulfil. She also holds the position of vice-chair of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Her educational and research experience primarily focuses on Communication Systems. Additionally, she emphasises artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, cloud computing, advanced telecommunication and optimization theories. The research conducted in this scope aims to introduce innovations in areas such as high-efficiency data transmission and network optimization.
Her published articles and conference presentations reflect a wide range of research, covering both theoretical and applied studies in these areas.
